Common questions
Which chargers work with CandelaCore?
Any charger that supports OCPP 1.6J or OCPP 2.0.1. You point the charger at your CandelaCore OCPP address and it appears in your dashboard when it connects.
How do drivers pay, and where does the money go?
Drivers top up a prepaid wallet with one of our supported payment gateways. Top-ups go into your own merchant account with that gateway, so payments land with your business, not with us. We support multiple gateways and keep adding more as we expand into new markets.
Can I use my own brand?
Yes. Your drivers get a mobile app customised and branded for your business, and your fleet customers see your logo and colours on their portal. Contact us for the cost of your branded app.
How do I set prices?
You set your own prices for each site or charger, with different rates for peak and off-peak hours. Drivers always pay the price they were shown when they plugged in.
Do you support fleet customers?
Yes. Invite a fleet business and it gets its own portal with a fleet wallet, vehicles and RFID cards. Sessions on fleet cards are charged to the fleet wallet.
